Kentucky: Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail

The Barren Fork Restoration Project restored various sections of the Sheltowee Trace National Recreational Trail (Trail #100), and Flat Rock Ridge Trail (#616) for hiking, biking, and equestrian. Sheltowee Trace NRT Cave Run to Red River Gorge is a 38.1 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Salt Lick, Kentucky. The USDA Forest Service has received past funding for trail maintenance and restoration.
